MySpace Marketing – A No Brainer
I simply cannot understand why more companies are not taking advantage of MySpace! If you sell a consumer product or service and even some business-to-business goods, you should be working MySpace for customers.

I simply cannot understand why more companies are not taking advantage of MySpace! If you sell a consumer product or service and even some business-to-business goods, you should be working MySpace for customers.

Consider this: MySpace has 180 Million members and during a typical one month period there will be 40 Billion page views. Yes, I said BILLION. What an incredible resource!

Brandon Sutton runs our MySpace and Facebook marketing services and has a great case for a small chain of boutiques. He was able to increase their MySpace friends (same as opt in emails) by 1200 percent in 12 months. All this at the same time standard email open rates are dropping into the single digit numbers.

Okay I can hear you now. “MySpace is just a bunch of teenagers and my customer is older.” Well, here is a surprise for you. Forty (40) percent of MySpace members are 35-54 years old.  Thirty-five (34.8) percent are 18-34.  There are as many members over 54 as there are teenagers from 12-17.  And as far as Facebook goes, 34 percent of its members are 35-54.

I know, I know, you don’t have time or knowledge to manage your own MySpace marketing and account. That’s why we do it for you. We know how to work MySpace and Facebook and we know how to use it to communicate to your consumers.

“It’s January,” you say! “We didn’t budget for MySpace this year.” I have an idea! How about you take a few less ½-page ads in newspapers where you compete with hundreds of other advertisers. Or Maybe you can reduce your TV commercial runs, you know the ones that people skip when they TIVO. Or you could cut down on those banner ads that are generating less than a quarter percent clicks.  Better yet, don’t buy those cheap plastic key chains that everyone throws away. Take the savings and invest in MySpace and Facebook.

Really! It is a no brainer!
